How it works:
A local artist will spend one month creating new artwork in a studio space provided by your business. The artist will engage with your employees and clients through an artist talk and workshops. At the end of the month, the artist will present their work in the form of a small exhibition in their studio space, and there will be an option to discuss integration of artworks into your building on a temporary or permanent basis.
Benefits to Business:
This unique project will foster creativity within the culture of your workplace by introducing innovative approaches to materials and problem solving. The partnership will also encourage new ways of strategic thinking. Moreover, by partnering with Eastern Edge Gallery, your brand will be associated with the province’s premiere centre for contemporary visual art, thus increasing the social and cultural capital of your company.
The residency would last for one month. Please notify the gallery of interest at least three months prior to your preferred residency period.
