Creativity is a common currency between the arts and business sectors. Whether we’re applying creativity to how solve a problem, reach new markets, or create a poignant moment, creativity is an inherent human trait.
However, the more time we spend doing things “right”, getting them done efficiently, and doing the same tasks on repeat, the less we depend on those creative pathways in our brains.
Creativity Moments are designed to help those of us who don’t identify as “creative people” begin to use those creative pathways and discover our creative strengths.
These ten-minute exercises require only a pen and a piece of paper and can be delivered online or in person. They are a great way to kick off your next meeting, event or brainstorming session.
It was the perfect way to start the first full hacking day and everyone seemed to really enjoy it. Some of the participants posted their work in our slack channel and it was so interesting to see the variation in approach! I also loved the message this delivered about the importance of diversity.
