Business and Arts NL’s #ComePlayWithMeNL public pianos can be found in 10 locations, including airports, hospitals, arts and culture centres, across the province. This summer, we’re bringing these pianos to life with a series of pop-up concerts!
Are you a musician or musical group who performs using piano? Interested in presenting one of our pop-up concerts this summer?
Artist Fee:
Featured performers/groups will be offered a $500 fee for each concert.
Each concert will:
- Take place between July 1 and Aug 31, 2022.
- Last 20-30 minutes.
- Be free of charge to passersby.
- Images and clips of these concerts will be featured on our social media channels and website.

- A 200-word bio
- A link to your website or portfolio
- Up to 3 recordings (these can be links to video/audio content, or attached mp3s and should include a piano).
- Let us know which piano you would prefer to perform on (see list below)
Project timeline:
May 6 – Expressions of interest due.
May 13 – Selected musicians notified.
June 10 – All concert dates and locations confirmed, in collaboration with artists and location hosts.
July 1 – Aug 31 – Performances.

Where are these pianos located?

Who is qualified to apply?
Musicians with experience performing in public are invited to apply. All musical genres are welcome, but a piano must be included in the performance, and in the materials submitted for consideration.
How will selections be made?
We will work with a selection committee, including musicians, to program the slate of concerts as a whole. It is our intent that the musicians and music featured will include a diverse range of musical styles and cultural expressions.
What format should I be submitting in?
