This workshop is for artists and craftspeople who normally sell their products at craft fairs, powwows, or other in-person markets. In this presentation, Alex Antle, Experience Development Officer at Qalipu First Nation, will discuss how to switch from selling in-person to selling online. Participants will learn about the value of having a social media presence, tips for taking high-quality photos with your smartphone, and options for e-commerce websites.
Alex will review some best practices, as well as tips and tools for helping your business change gears during these challenging times. There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout.

About Alex Antle
Alex is an emerging Mi’kmaw beadwork artist who operates an e-commerce website. She holds a bachelor of commerce with a concentration in marketing. At Qalipu First Nation, Alex works with Indigenous tourism, culture, and craft.
