Business & Arts NL works to bring together private, public, and creative sectors in ways that enhance the work of all parties. Our latest offering provides the opportunity for local businesses and organizations to add a professional from the creative sector to their team through an Artist Internship. Artists can employ their skills to help you unlock your employees’ creativity and fuel innovation in their work.
How does it work?
The BANL Artist Internship program is a cost-shared opportunity to bring an artist into your team for a period of up to 4 months, on a full- or part-time basis. BANL will reimburse 40% of the fee/wage paid to the artist upon completion of the internship term.
This is a great opportunity to bring fresh talent and new skills to your organization on a short-term basis.
What might this look like?
Creative storytellers and song writers can work with you to get your message out in a way that will resonate with the public. Artists can bring a new perspective to your workgroups and boardrooms that can foster new ideas and new ways of looking at old challenges. Or, they can raise morale and encourage a sense of belonging by working with staff to design and create original artwork to beautify and brighten uninspiring shared spaces. The options are many. Pitch us your idea, and let’s see how we can make it work!
