1) The Sights Before Christmas Holiday Show

The Sights Before Christmas explores the fantasy world of Bernadette Doyle, a young child who is determined to stay awake all night so that she will not miss one second of Christmas magic. In her sugar plum dreams she is visited by a wild mummers troupe, Old Father Christmas himself, and Evergreen, a magical elf who decorates a fanciful Christmas tree.

The characters in The Sights Before Christmas enchant audiences with a wild array of theatrical and circus characters. From juggling and unicycling to carolling and storytelling, the show is a thrilling, wide-eyed Christmas adventure.This story is also published as a beautiful children's book, illustrated by Darka Erdjeli, and each booking receives a complimentary copy.

Duration/Price: The show runs about 40 minutes and the cost is $500. We will bring everything we need for the show and can perform in a variety of venues.

About the Artist: Wonderbolt Productions has been providing unique, original theatrical presentations to audiences in Newfoundland and Labrador and across Canada for more than 25 years. Beni Malone, the company’s artistic director, has trained in top-notch facilities around the world, from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s Clown College in Venice, Florida to L’Ecole Nationale du Cirque in Paris, to Cirque du Soleil’s original training center in Montreal. He has pioneered touring to remote areas and is experienced in all aspects of creating and presenting live theatre.

3) Gros Morne Time Lines book and DVDThe book is a replica of the original Gros Morne Time Lines artist’s book. Produced by CBC and Parks Canada, the video explores the relationship between visual art, nature's beauty and the written word. Kevin Major’s reading of the text is intertwined with images of the book and the park, and the personal experience of other artists, park residents and staff.

Specializing in fine press books and eclectic artist's books, Bryan has taught workshops in letterpress and book binding, and has mentored numerous writers and artists in her printshop.

3) GLOWE by Brenda Rowe: Glow-in-the-Dark Art

Brenda has launched her new collection of artwork - it glows in the dark! Brenda uses 11 different glow paints to create one-of-a-kind original artwork that looks like a regular painting by day, but by night, it transforms into a beautiful glowing masterpiece. Brenda is the first and only NL artist to produce glow-in-the-dark artwork.

About the Artist: Ruth Weller-Malchow is an artist and former director of Bonavista Creative, the arts and culture arm of Bonavista Living, a significant townscape and economic revitalization project currently underway in Bonavista, NL. In 2015 and 2016, Ruth initiated Art Bonavista, presenting Newfoundland-based artists in several pop-up exhibition spaces. She was also the community coordinator for the Bonavista Biennale 2017. Currently, she is working on Union House Arts, situated on the William F. Coaker Foundation grounds in Port Union, a new artist-run, nfp gallery/community house.
