This workshop will feature a presentation by Devon Hardy from the Centre for Sustainable Practice in the Arts on the Creative Green Tools; a free set of carbon calculation and reporting tools designed to empower arts and culture organizations across the country to understand and mitigate their environmental impact in an accessible and inclusive way.

Devon Hardy, is an environmental specialist who, after working in the sustainability and water fields since 2011, pursued a career in the arts. In 2018, she began doing sustainability-related arts work, including managing the Canadian adaptation of Julie’s Bicycle’s Creative Green Tools. She is now the Creative Green Tools Canada Program Director with the Centre for Sustainable Practice in the Arts.

The Centre for the Sustainable Practice in the Arts (CSPA) provides research, training, and consultancy services related to sustainable development, in particular ecological responsibility, in the arts and culture sector. This includes environmental foot printing and support for theatres, museums, galleries, and other cultural organizations and arts presenters/producers. We publish, electronically and in print, associated research in this field and organize conferences and convening on this topic for the purpose of professional and research networking, education, and professional development.
