Measuring What Matters: Introduction to Impact Measurement in the Arts
How do we effectively capture and communicate the true value of arts and cultural work in our communities? Join us for this essential workshop that will help you measure, understand, and amplify the stories of artists and arts organizations.
Led by Dr. Gillian Morrissey—musician, social entrepreneur, and author of the groundbreaking Dimensions of Impact in Arts Organizations framework— this interactive session will provide practical knowledge of impact measurement strategies specifically tailored for the arts sector.
You'll discover how these powerful tools can help your organization:
Craft compelling narratives that resonate with funders and stakeholders
Demonstrate your unique social and cultural contributions
Build pathways to greater financial stability and organizational sustainability
Connect your daily work to broader community outcomes
Together, we'll explore key frameworks and tools, terminology and concepts, including Theory of Change, Logic Models, Outcomes Mapping, and Impact Measurement Frameworks, all designed to help arts organizations of any size articulate their full value.
This workshop offers the perfect introduction to impact measurement concepts that are increasingly vital in today's funding landscape. You'll gain foundational knowledge and awareness of these important approaches to better understand how they might be applied in your specific context.
