Experience

The second dimension of this framework is experience—the experience of an audience member (in the case of live performance, gallery showings, etc.), participant (in the case of ensembles and groups), subscriber or member, and even donors (from the lens of relationship management—donors are also included in other dimensions of the framework in consideration of their financial contributions). This dimension is directly linked to artistic and cultural impact, as well as impact through community health and well-being.

Indicators within this dimension include but are not limited to:

Audience/Participant Demographics 

  • Age

  • Race

  • Gender

  • Location of origin

Events

  • Number of events (per year)

  • Type of events

  • Connection to culture and heritage

Tickets

  • Number of sales

  • Number of people attending

  • All reported in the context of the local population

  • Percentage of the local population attending etc.

Feedback/Reviews

Number of Donors

  • Value ($)

  • Relationship/Engagement (ie. do they sit on the board, do they volunteer, do they have a personal connection to the mission)
